I met Henar, the creator of Peticlín, at a Santander X Explorer edition. We crossed paths in a few talks and WhatsApp groups and hit it off right away.
She needed a brand image — logo, color palette, typography — to keep moving her project forward, but couldn't afford to hire that out at such an early stage. I had several projects running and can't always work for free, so I offered her something different: a two-hour "guerrilla branding" workshop, just the two of us. She sent over references and ideas, I looked into a few things too, and on the day it felt more like a virtual coffee between friends than a work session. We shared a Figma file and came out with a logo, an icon, some fonts and a color palette.
From that small base, Henar — who's sharp with Figma and Canva and has a great eye — built every piece herself: social posts, stories, stickers, merchandise. She's grown a community that's now in the thousands. We're still friends, and watching her project take off at this speed is a joy.
